Reports from the ground in Lybia
24Yes, I know this is from RussiaToday and comes with the risk of bias. However some investigation will prove they are not alone in their critique of NATO, Italy, Britain, The United States and other countries bombing the nation.
War is Hell
5Our adventures around the world are not humanitarian. They are not “good.” They are horrific, abominations that must end.
God-willing we will be part of ending the reign of terror that governments around the globe are waging “for democracy.”
Intervention’s costs vs. Non-intervention’s benefits
0
By Michael Scheuer, former CIA chief of the bin Laden unit
In a world rife with examples of the damage done to the U.S. economy and our national security by Washington’s relentless and bipartisan overseas interventionism, two current situations can be cited to demonstrate the high cost of intervention, on the one hand, and the wisdom of national-interest-protecting non-intervention on the other.
The first deals with the growing likelihood of frequent and widespread attacks in the United States by Islamist militants, and the second deals with recent events in Syria and Somalia.
The coming Islamist attacks in America will be the direct result of our interventionist foreign policy, while our failure to intervene — so far — in Syria and Somalia provides clears evidence that disasters, insurrections, and wars can occur in many areas of the world, have no impact on U.S. national security, and will cost us nothing in terms of lives, funds, or security if we simply refrain from intervening.
Domestic Islamist violence is the price of U.S. interventionism
On 3 August 2011, the White House issued a new plan to combat violent extremism in the United States. The plan urges an outreach program at the state, local, and community levels to “explain more effectively our [U.S.] values, ideas, policies, and actions internationally and support moderate voices willing to confront extremists and discredit radicals.”
The federal plan says the bulk of our defense against Islamist militancy in America — the plan is aimed at Islamist extremism but never uses the words Islam or Muslim — will be handled through social-science-driven out-reach programs conducted at all non-federal levels of government, as well as similar efforts by private sector organizations.
Does Bible prophecy predict a restoration of The American Republic?

The following essays are from a trusted source and detail with striking precision the numerical and Biblical connections that ‘restoring the republic’ has in Scripture.
I have been distant recently as I wasn’t sure that this movement—or even politics in general—was really God’s Way out of MYSTERY BABYLON and that perhaps we were to truly goto the cross and walk as Jesus did to find our salvation through deep pain and suffering as the de facto government comes down around us. No matter what does come to pass, I will praise God’s Plan and rest in the Faith that all things are being worked to the Good.
After reading this Sunday afternoon during a worship meeting with friends—my version of church—I have been deep in prayer and meditation on it and frankly have gotten a mix of signals so I think we should still proceed with caution; however if we are to judge a tree by it’s fruits, then may this movement be “good in our sight?”
It is upon me to state I am not a member of the organization calling itself The Republic for the united States of America (intentional capitalization) and although they claim to have a remedy for the problems we face with our current de facto, corporate, fictional democracy I do not endorse their methods.
I welcome your thoughts and would be delighted to hear back from you in regard to these documents; they are very comprehensive and deal with the issues of corporate democracy vs. constitutional republic forms of government.

Where do we go from here?

It’s a fascinating and dangerous world we live in today. Full of signs and wonders that push our ability to comprehend, analyze and make use of them. While we struggle to make sense of the economic malaise surrounding us, it’s upon us to make difficult decisions and manage the treacherous territory we’re in.
How can we create solutions to the problems we face? What is our goal in life? What do we believe about God? Or Yah if you prefer?
These are the questions of our time, the answers to them can provide us with peace and clarity in the face of a muddy and dangerous landscape.
For me, it is an imperative drive to seek the face and identity of our Creator; the Eternal One with a beginning and end that are one and the same; the everlasting and Holy force of Good in the world.
In doing so—despite the horrors prevalent in our world—we can build a deep
trust that we can know, feel and believe with all of our hearts and beings that can deliver us from the angst, pain and frustration washing over our land today.
Breathe in the deep peace that can only come by recognizing that there is a Divine Creator watching and guiding this planet from beyond our horizon and that we would not be created only to be destroyed.
For me, our prayer that we can serve as pawns on God’s chessboard will bring us where we want to go. It takes time and pain to quiet the load voices of our own wild hearts and minds but in time we can align with the voice of The Almighty and receive True Guidance. Hard to believe—yet still nothing could be easier.
Ex-Big Pharma exec comes clean
0In the scandalous world we live in, it is imperative that we peer into the darkness and pass through the fire of it’s wicked ways to be refined and sharpened by the violent evil that resides on this planet.
Back in the saddle!
0Many steps forward backward and sideways in the pursuit of truth lately. I’ve wanted to post countless articles but have gotten a heavy handed jab in my chest every time I wanted to post something. It just felt wrong.
While my heart beats raucously for political action I can’t help but feel restrained—and compelled to abandon my personal plans with the prayer that I can know, believe and do God’s Plans. Is there a greater goal than knowing God’s thoughts? Is there anything more valuable?
“I want to know God’s thoughts, the rest is trivia.” Albert Einstein.
Perhaps this is too out there, perhaps we are going too far…. But what if this is the necessary step to bring our hearts, minds and planet into peace and prosperity?
When healing and/or performing various miracles, Jesus always reinforced that he was merely a channel for God to do his work—an empty glass through which God could manifest.
Is this then a template for our lives? What might happen to our lives if we decided for a day, a week, or a month to bury our instinctive desires and bow our heads in prayer for God’s Will and presence—vowing not to budge until we felt guided to do so. This step includes the difficult task and pain of an internal death to self—in my experience this is a hard, emotional and instinctively challenging surrendering of our hearts and egos, a scuffing of knees to drop ourselves in humility….
While I certainly can’t claim that I get VIP access to The Almighty on a nightly basis in prayer, I do feel—much more than ever before—a shift in my perceptions, a heightened sensitivity to what can only be described as Guidance, and through physical events a knowing that despite the incredible pain and suffering around us God is our loving but challenging personal trainer who is indeed playing chess with us for great accomplishments, advancements and anointing.
