Bible code, Schmible code?
3
I agree that it’s often difficult to believe in an intelligent, omnipotent, loving God in a world as dark, difficult and disease-ridden as ours—difficult to believe that a singular and entirely holy entity could be somewhere out there watching down on all of us “making lists and checking them twice” like an omnipotent Santa Claus. The sarcasm is intentional as most people think the idea of God to be equally fanciful.
But can our proud, rational minds find logical evidence for God’s existence in the spiritual texts of The Bible’s Old Testament?
What if there are intricate, impossibly complex and inextricable words, phrases and ideas within the text that no mind of man could create?
The below documentary has a litany of profoundly qualified mathematicians presenting a shockingly powerful, logical, empirical case that there are encrypted messages within the text of The Bible. Using encryption formulas presented by a former NSA “Cryptologic Mathematician” Harold Gans (part 3/8 ~11:00) a number of shocking sentences are produced including, “President Kennedy…to die…Dallas” and “Shakespeare…will present plays on stage…Hamlet…MacBeth.” These phrases are allegedly concurrent when using the formula—if so, that is a very high impact piece of evidence.
The documentary is probably 10 years+ old and lacks in modern production fireworks but does have a balance of point and counter point from both sides of the debate–I think you’ll get a lot out of it.
So, if these codes exist, do we believe? And if we believe, how do our lives change?
If you’ve ever felt the subtle tug on your heart and mind to move towards God or explore his existence, pray for a relationship in your life and don’t get wrapped in the religious bickering and “letter of the word.” Find that voice that leads you to a personal relationship with The Creator and your Divine Father in heaven who is ready for you to turn from your wicked ways and come into alignment with your purpose through yielding your carnal desires to God’s infinitely perfect plan.
Try to be still until you feel a foreign and quiet voice leading you to your next place of study.
If I may suggest a source, this is an incredible site from a very dear friend of mine: King David’s Table.
