“Gasoline Prices Are Not Rising, the Dollar Is Falling”
via Louis Woodhill at Forbes.com

Panic is in the air as gasoline prices move above $4.00 per gallon. Politicians and pundits are rounding up the usual suspects, looking for someone or something to blame for this latest outrage to middle class family budgets. In a rare display of bipartisanship, President Obama and Speaker of the House John Boehner are both wringing their hands over the prospect of seeing their newly extended SocialSecurity tax cut gobbled up by rising gasoline costs.

Unfortunately, the talking heads that are trying to explain the reasons for high oil prices are missing one tiny detail. Oil prices aren’t high right now. In fact, they are unusually low. Gasoline prices would have to rise by another $0.65 to $0.75 per gallon from where they are now just to be “normal”. And, because gasoline prices are low right now, it is very likely that they are going to go up more—perhaps a lot more.

What the politicians, analysts, and pundits are missing is that prices are ratios. Gasoline prices reflect crude oil prices, so let’s use West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil to illustrate this crucial point.

As this is written, West Texas Intermediate crude oil (WTI) is trading at $105.88/bbl. All this means is that the market value of a barrel of WTI is 105.88 times the market value of “the dollar”. It is also true that WTI is trading at €79.95/bbl, ¥8,439.69/barrel, and £67.13/bbl. In all of these cases, the market value of WTI is the same. What is different in each case is the value of the monetary unit (euros, yen, and British pounds, respectively) being used to calculate the ratio that expresses the price.

In terms of judging whether the price of WTI is high or low, here is the price that truly matters: 0.0602 ounces of gold per barrel (which can be written as Au0.0602/bbl). What this number means is that, right now, a barrel of WTI has the same market value as 0.0602 ounces of gold.

AFGHANISTAN 27-02-12 QURAN BURNING PROTESTS

CIA veteran Michael Scheuer comments on Koran burning

0

Driving to Mass this morning I was listening to FOX on the issue of Afghanistan and the killing of U.S. and NATO soldiers by our supposed Afghan allies. FOX had its “terrorism expert” on and he was blathering about how President Obama’s apology for the recent Koran burning was causing more violence in Afghanistan and across the Muslim world. The apology, said the “expert”, was typical of Obama’s weakness, and this weakness is contributing to the rise of Islamist power in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Afghanistan, and other places.

Somehow Obama’s apology for the Koran burning was explained by FOX’s “expert” as an apology for “U.S. policy,” which surprised me as I did not know our policy was to burn Korans.

Anyway, that this sort of truly brain-dead stuff passes for acceptable — or even plausible — analysis on any U.S. network falls into the appalling but not surprising category. The violence in Afghanistan against U.S. and NATO forces, for example, has nothing to do with the repeated apologies of Obama, Bush, Secretary Clinton, etc. for various incidents.

The violence comes from the fact that we and NATO are viewed by the overwhelming number of Afghans as, to quote an old but true phrase, “foreign infidel occupiers.”

Now, there is no doubt that burning Korans alienates Afghans, but it is the icing on the cake of 2,000-plus years of unrelenting, violent Afghan opposition to all occupiers — Greeks, Persians, Mongols, British, or Soviets. FOX’s “expert” said that Washington and NATO should be “partnering with pro-democracy Afghan social groups” to discredit the Taleban and other Afghan mujahedin and thereby reduce violence and spur democracy.

This analysis is truly a howler as those Afghans who are killing Western soldiers are the only social forces that count in Afghanistan, and they are the only ones that have counted since we invaded in 2001. Had we smashed these folks to the edge of extinction and then left in the 18 months following 9/11, all would have been well. But we stayed to build a secular democracy and empower women, and today the world’s greatest power and its allies are acknowledging defeat at the hands of shaggy lads armed with weapons of Korean War vintage.

ClimateGate breaker James Delingpole goes deeper

1

His new book “Watermelons” details how the fall of the Soviet Union led to a re-branding of communism into today’s green on the outside, red on the inside (there’s the clever part about Watermelons, get it?) political class and movements.

Delingpole’s new book details how the heart-wrenching tale of global warming is being used as a tool by these groups to install their vision of a communist utopia with their self-appointed visionaries at the head of it.

If that sounds like a conspiracy theory global check out some quotes from super-class politicians like Maurice Strong, or “green science” heros like author of “The Population Bomb“, Dr. Paul Ehrlich and Obama’s “science czar” John Holdren.

There is a consistent thread woven among them that hinges on a few key factors: 1) humans are a cancerous creature that is destroying the planet and must be controlled, 2) a global infrastructure is needed to enforce this system via taxation and other means of force, 3) overpopulation is a rampant problem and we must implement systems to sterilize the population and control it.

Check out Green-Agenda.com for some revealing quotes on the subject.

The kingdom of heaven can manifest itself on Earth and “put all works of the devil underfoot”, but how? How do you see people fitting into that plan? Do you think the green bugs mentioned in this article are the solution or the problem?

Energy from invisible dimension manifests in light

0

Many physicists today theorize the existence of alternate universes and “zero-point energy” derived from an invisible, sub-atomic “Field” of limitless power. Until very recently, this energy has not been seen with the eyes of man.

Lynee McTaggart, author of the fascinating book “The Field: The Quest for The Secret Force of The Universe” (much more empirical than it sounds) details an amazing experience recently conducted in Sweden that sends this concept spinning.

Light pulled from thin air” via LynneMcTaggart.com

Late last year, with little fanfare, Chris Wilson and his team at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden pulled off the seemingly impossible. They managed to create light out of thin air.

In the process, they also proved what many physicists like Hal Puthoff, director of The Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin in Texas, have maintained for many years – that empty space is not empty at all, but a plenum of energy and possibility, something that we can tap into at will.

The study was designed to offer first proof of a phenomenon known as the Casimir Effect.

Teeming with energy

In order to understand the magnitude of their discovery, it’s important to understand some things about so-called empty space. For the uninitiated, since the discovery of quantum physics, many quantum physicists have understood that empty space is not empty at all, but a place teeming with subatomic particles, constantly passing energy back and forth as if in an endless game of basketball.

All elementary particles interact through what are considered temporary or ‘virtual’ quantum particles, combining and annihilating each other in less than an instant.

The back-and-forth passes of these virtual particles, akin to two people taking turns constantly depositing and withdrawing the same amount of money from a bank, are known collectively as the Zero Point Field. The field is called “zero point” because even at temperatures of absolute zero, when all matter theoretically should stop moving, these tiny fluctuations are still detectable.

Disturbances in The Field

Although all matter is surrounded with zero-point energy, which bombards a given object uniformly, there have been some instances where disturbances in the Field could actually be measured.

One such disturbance was discovered in the 1940s, when a Dutch physicist named Hendrik Casimir demonstrated that two metal plates placed close together will actually form an attraction that appears to pull them closer together.

This is because when two plates are placed near each other, the zero-point waves between the plates are restricted to those that essentially span the gap. Since some wavelengths of the field are excluded, this leads to a disturbance in the equilibrium of the field and the result is an imbalance of energy, with less energy in the gap between the plates than in the outside empty space. This greater energy density pushes the two metal plates together, and this attractive force is called the ‘Casimir Effect.’

In the Swedish study, Wilson and his colleagues wanted to create a real demonstration of the ‘dynamical’ Casimir Effect, as predicted in the 1970s by an American physicist named Gerald Moore.

Moore had turned the Casimir Effect on its head. Instead of examining the effect of squeezing the vacuum and creating an attractive force between two plates, he believed that if you moved the plates together fast enough, you’d squash the wavelengths between them so much that the Zero Point Field would have to yield up some of its energy in the form of photons. In this way, he figured, you would transform virtual particles of light into true photons – or light beams.

To do this was no mean feat, though; you’d have to take these virtual photons and bounce them off a mirror traveling close to the speed of light.

Sleep-Paralysis

Spiritual authority and sleep paralysis

0

It’s not about being saved because you are a bad person. It’s about realizing that we are all flawed, and that perfection cannot manifest itself through a flawed lens. If we engage our spiritual vision to see the forces of evil around us and be humble enough to admit we are not infallible, the logical conclusion is that we need some help.

Through many profound experiences that must be more than my imagination it has become obvious to me that spirits exist, and that they are capable of altering our perceptions of reality and actions.

Have you heard of sleep paralysis?

According to Stanford University it is defined as, “a period of inability to perform voluntary movements either at sleep onset (called hypnogogic or predormital form) or upon awakening (called hypnopompic or postdormtal form).”

Have you ever experienced this?

For a very long time I struggled with this malady and it was incredibly distressing. I remember dreams being in familiar places when I would come in contact with obviously evil beings in look and feel that would paralyze me, push me into the corner of a room, or push me off of a bed and nothing I did could break through until I said the name Jesus Christ and I immediately broke free and woke up. The exact same thing has been reported by innumerable people around the world.

Rational minded people might read the previous paragraph (or experience it) and say that this was jsut some kind of subconscious program that would trigger a response because we believed in a “fake” superhero and that belief triggered the action. Honestly, which one sounds more fanciful?

Why do so many people have the same experience? Have a look at the links for the testimonies, they are breath-taking.

Here’s a great vid from youtuber KnowWhereToRun1984 (check out his page for an array of solid videos on spirituality and politics):

InfoWars.com pushes too much fear for me to pay attention to them very often, but this interview with Attorney Kurt Haskell gives an amazing and shocking testimony about what he saw and experienced as a passenger on Delta flight 253.

To say the very least, he does not believe that the “mainstream” story is accurate.
