Alliance of Latin American Presidents propose drug legalization, sanity

0

They’ve almost got this right. When they start wanting to regulate production and transit they’re going to get into trouble. People are going to be people until the end of time or the Second Coming.

Politicians, self-righteous do-gooders and busy bodies need to humble themselves, step back and let freedom work! When we decide focus on healing and inspiring the individual then all great things will flow and society will function at a much higher level than it ever could under the watchful eyes of our self-appointed benevolent masters of hypocrisy and hubris.

Central American Presidents Hold Drug Legalization Summit

The President of Guatemala, Otto Perez put the issue of drug legalization on the SICA agenda in a historic meeting in Antigua, Guatemala on Saturday, despite the efforts of a certain power to get the meeting canceled at the last minute. For the first time 3 Central American Leaders defied the US and send a strong and clear message: we consider the war on drugs failed, we demand that US takes the responsibility, we demand the US pays, we are not paying the price for US failure.

It is very clear that the Presidents of Central America and many Latin American countries are tired of the empty promises and empty US rhetoric on the war on drugs. They have also learned the lesson from Mexico, where President Calderon has been doing as the US asks, turning the country into a bloodbath. Last week Gen. Charles Jacoby, commander of U.S. Northern Command, said during testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee: Mexico’s “decapitation” strategy of capturing or killing high-value drug cartel leaders with the help of U.S. has a problem, it isn´t working.

“The decapitation strategy — they’ve been successful at that. Twenty-two out of the top 37 trafficking figures that the Mexican government has gone after have been taken off the board. But it has not had an appreciable effect — an appreciable, positive effect.”

President Otto Perez Molina has said the war on drugs in Latin America has failed, and has set out a draft of proposals to look at the possibility of decriminalizing narcotics or establishing a regional court to try traffickers.

Laura Chinchilla, President of Costa Rica said:

“The problem of drug violence should be brought to the UN Security Council so that sanctions can be imposed on drug traffickers and those dealing with them. How much have we paid here in Central America in deaths, kidnappings, extortion? Central America has to ask whether it is time that we raise this issue at the Security Council of United Nations.”

Otto Perez explained:

“The proposal is decriminalization; we are talking about creating a legal framework to regulate the production, transit and consumption of drugs. We have seen that the strategy that has been pursued in the fight against drug trafficking over the last 40 years has failed; we have to look for new alternatives. We must end the myths, the taboos, and tell people you have to discuss it. It’s important this is on the discussion table as an alternative to what we’ve been doing for 40 years without getting the desired results.”

Otto Perez said: “Central American leaders are considering asking the US, the biggest consumer of South American cocaine, to pay the region for drug raids. We are talking about economic compensation for every seizure undertaken and also the destruction of marijuana and cocaine plantations.”

Perez added: “Another alternative is setting up a court with jurisdiction for the region that would hear crimes related to the drug trade like kidnapping, contract killing, and trafficking of people and arms. This would give breathing space to the justice system because it would relieve pressure on our courts,” he said.

“We must end the myths, the taboos, and tell people you have to discuss it, discuss it, debate it,” said Perez.

Question: Why did President Lobos from Honduras and Funes from El Salvador not come to the meeting? Well the reader can decide what to believe; both Honduras and El Salvador can not or don’t want to survive without US foreign assistance and TIPS. They can be easily bullied. It can also be considered the usual long time strategy of the Superpowers: divide and rule, keep weak regions weak, keep weak countries even weaker.

President Laura Chinchilla of Costa Rica knows what everybody should know: the US no longer has the funds to back any promises. That could have been the only reason for her to come to this meeting and to defy the US. Costa Rican Presidents, whether we like it or not, are the best political negotiators of the region. They are also considered to be the closest allies of the US in Central America.

Maybe the winds of change have reached Central America………….

Public Policy Poll: Paul more electable than Romney

0

The Ron Paul for President Campaign released the following statement:

2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul polls better against President Barack Obama in a head-to-head matchup than establishment-choice moderate Mitt Romney, according to a recent survey conducted by Public Policy Polling.

The poll found that Obama defeats Romney by 4 percentage points (48-44) and Newt Gingrich by 8 percent (50-42). While Santorum also joins Paul being within striking distance of the President by 3 points (48-45 and 46-43 respectively), Paul brings Obama a noticeable 2 percentage points further away from the 50 percent a candidate seeks to win on election day. Considering the +/- 3.3-percentage point margin of error, Paul in this poll is statistically tied for the presidency.

Reinforcing the electability case for Paul is that he ties Obama among independent voters, while Romney loses the largest voting segment by 6 percent, Santorum by 8 percent, and Gingrich by 15 percent – a cause for concern whether Paul’s three rivals would even be competitive come November.

While many polls have shown Paul to be the most competitive Romney alternative, it also shows Paul to be making substantial progress and momentum for a general election bid. The new poll reveals that Paul is narrowing the gap between himself and Obama by 5 percentage points since last month’s PPP poll.

Other notables are that among one of the fastest growing voter segments, the Hispanic vote, Paul takes a full third of the Hispanic vote against the sitting President, with no other candidate able to come within 5 points of Paul’s Hispanic support.

Among the largest voter segment, self-identified independents, Paul is viewed favorably by 41 percent, whereas Romney and Santorum are relegated to a melancholy 29 percent and Gingrich further behind with a mere 24 percent favorability. These favorability numbers among independents translate into a clear Election Day advantage unique to Paul, where he would tie President Obama 42 to 42 for their votes.

Young voters, those 18 to 29 years in this poll, have long been considered to be in the President’s court. Yet, in a Paul-Obama matchup, these voters leave Obama and comparatively flock to Paul, backing him with a hefty 40 percent of their support. The range of youth support for Paul’s three competitors in a head-to-head with Obama ranges 22 to 29 percent, meaning about half of Paul’s margin to weak at best.

“The media may find an inevitability about Romney becoming nominee, but it is clear that with anyone other than Ron Paul as nominee a second term for Obama is the inevitability,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“When polls say ‘Romney is actually not the most electable Republican candidate,’ voters should flock to the candidate who can defeat Obama by winning on true conservative principle. That man is Ron Paul,” added Mr. Benton.

The PPP poll is based on telephone surveys of 900 voters and has a +/- 3.3-percentage point error margin.

Emotional authority, my 666th post

0

I’ve been confused by a strange mental block I’ve had recently. Getting a new post out has been impossible–couldn’t even sign onto WordPress. Looking at my admin page I now see that this is my 666th post….

To me this is a message—but more like a clarion call—to transcend the physical realm and “the beast” symbolized by 666. Along with this are the negative, destructive emotions, thought patterns and “beastly” actions that are brought on by the chaos of our physical reality and the spirits at work within it.

It’s easy to get excited, scared or anxious when we see the incredibly disturbing events taking place around us. It’s tempting to fall into rage, become jaded with cynicism, or be shaken by fear. But we are made to walk in another Kingdom, a world in which those emotions—and the spirits that produce them—are put under foot, forever.

If you’ve been dealing with these emotions and are ready to be delivered from them, now may be the time.

A very powerful yet simple prayer can produce an incredible effect for you: “The spirit of anger/regret/sadness (or other emotions for which you seek relief) that is affecting me is hereby bound by the Spirit of Jesus Christ (that’s the important part) and removed from my mind, body and spirit!”

Be careful though, you are not the powerful one in this equation, Christ is. If your ego lights up and you decide to start playing spiritual wizard you could get into real trouble. CHRIST and HIS NAME are the important parts here, HE is the one doing the work.

Jesus is distilled Spiritual Perfection; and as previous posts about cymatics, reality and vibrations have theorized, when His Spirit and the PERFECT VIBRATIONS that accompany it are present, then other physical/spiritual forms are eliminated by both the laws of Spiritual Authority and simple physics—like oil and vinegar they cannot co-exist.

Hopefully I’m not the only one for whom that makes sense.

The Forging of Faith and Our Cymatic Reality

0

There’s a story that you may find to be the Word of God or just another tale of yesteryear in The Book of Daniel that tells a story of Daniel praying for 21 days for God to help him. 21 days straight he patiently waited on The Almighty and Benevolent Father in Heaven to make his will known and evident in “reality”.

Daniel records that during this time, the Angels Gabriel and Michael had to fight past The King of Cyprus to get to him. But how could an earthly King resist a spiritual being?! To me and many others, this “King of Cyprus” is not a man, he/it is a very powerful demon.

If you choose to debate whether such entities exist or not is up to you—it’s been my experience that evil is real; and there are beings (demons) totally possessed by it that are like computer programs designed for one purpose: to wreak havoc and chaos in our lives.

It has also been my experience that these demons have left me, my fiancé and other people when they are commanded to do so in The Name of Jesus Christ. My prayer in such situations, “Any spiritual entities of wickedness are hereby commanded to leave and are bound by the Spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ.” Sleep paralysis victims have incredible testimonies about their experience in calling on Christ to help them during their afflictions.

If we take a tangent into the world of cymatics, and ponder about how different vibrations manifest different physical forms, an opening in our imagination can form that allows for a visualization: if a certain vibration aka a word can impact reality directly and change it, do you see the connection to the word “Jesus Christ” and why demons must flee from the area?

That concept is a long bridge to cross, I admit it freely, but take a quiet moment now and think about it. If Everything around us in energy (aka Spirit) condensed into matter, and matter reacts to vibrations by changing its form—as proven by cymatics—the core of my belief here is that when we say The Name “Jesus Christ” we are radically modifying the vibrations around us by tuning into the power of most spiritually anointed name in all of Creation: Yeshua, Jesus Christ The Messiah.

So, back to the “slow forging” of Faith and the role of Angels and Demons: it’s been my experience that there is a “Spiritual Spectrum” of reality that ranges from a very high vibration (resulting in emotions of joy, love, gratitude) to a very low (when we are possessed by anxiety, fear, hatred, regret…), and that we are constantly being pulled “up and down” in it by various good or bad forces around us: food, spiritual entities, music, other people, etc.

When we fall into negative thought patterns and low vibrational states doors are opened into the spirt world “beneath” us and allow creatures of the deep to take hold of our minds, bodies and actions and influence us in dreadful ways.

Our task at hand is to strive towards remaining in the gentle love that we have been called to be and forge the slow-building Faith of Daniel to find that even in our most anxious, angry, and ego-centric states of being Angels are fighting on our behalf and Grace is on the wing to deliver us from our emotional and physical problems.

Hacking voting machines

…is frighteningly easy to do.

How do we secure our voting system to ensure that our political process retains its integrity?

As the following video shows, it is definitely NOT secure at the moment.

Response to Kony 2012

0

It’s a hard world out there. I’m sorry. I really am.

We get spun this way and that way, rarely knowing who to believe and nearly everyone has an agenda that seeks to use, manipulate or abuse us.

Is that the case with the recent internet phenomenon “Kony 2012“?

The documentary stars do-gooding Americans who seem to be out to make an honest strike at the evil heart of an apparently huge problem in Africa: Joseph Kony and his mobile abduction and assault force the Lord’s Resistance Army.

The goal is for viewers to pressure their government (particularly Americans) into sending more troops to Africa to track down and kill Joseph Kony.

But how long should they stay there? Do Ugandans want us to come? Is Kony still even IN Uganda?!

A few quotes from an article recently published in The UK Telegraph cast major doubts on the legitimacy of this movement:

“It is totally misleading to suggest that the war is still in Uganda,” said Fred Opolot, spokesman for the Ugandan government.

“I suspect that if that’s the impression they are making, they are doing it only to garner increasing financial resources for their own agenda.”

“Suggesting that the answer is more military action is just wrong,” said Javie Ssozi, an influential Ugandan blogger.”

Kony 2012 director Jason Russell has issued a response ansd says that “we want you to keep investigating, we want you to read the history.”

Well my brother, I want also want you to read history and before creating heart-warming, slick videos to study economics, military, and current events a bit more.

I’m sure I’m simplifying a complex issue here, but the fact remains that we have incredible problems to solve here in America. Check the statistics on the hunger crisis happening right here and right now. If you want to make a difference it’s not very difficult to find a place nearby to start.

Israeli Mossad chief Meir Dagan on Iran

0

Among many insights from an extraordinarily knowledgeable man, Dagan gives surprising weight to the rationality of Iranian leadership and speaks on the foolishness of a bombing the country.

Is part of that “rationality” based on this shocking map of their country and the American military bases surrounding it?

Although I am nervous about Iran having “the bomb”, after seeing Libya give up their nuclear weapons and then be demolished by US and NATO forces I can see why Iranians would be driven to acquire such a weapon.

Ronald Reagan’s Assistant Secretary of The Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts wrote a pretty comprehensive piece on this situation.

What would America do if the tables were turned? How would you be voting if Iranian bases surrounded American borders? If our nieghbor Canada had been crippled by horrific Iranian sanctions that killed 500,000 children (as was documented in Iraq) would you be concerned if similar sanctions were being placed on us? Would that make you more or less likely to rally around the American flag, join with our government in war, and hostile to the Iranian presence?

My point in that confusing analogy is that our public efforts to stop Iran from getting the bomb by imposing dangerous and usually deadly sanctions will likely fail and rather than force the government to change, will instead rally everyday Iranians to the cause of violence to in an attempt to escape the prison of sanction.

There is no path to peace aside from peace itself.

(CBS News) Meir Dagan has been described as “hard-charging” and “stops at nothing.” For more than eight years, Dagan made full use of those qualities as chief of Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, where he focused on keeping Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.

When that job ended, Dagan did something unheard of for an ex-Mossad chief: he spoke out publicly, voicing opposition to Israel launching preemptive airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities anytime soon. Dagan believes the Iranian regime is a rational one and even its president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – who has called for Israel to be annihilated – acts in a somewhat rational way when it comes to Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Lesley Stahl reports.

The following script is from “The Spymaster Speaks” which aired on March 11, 2012. Lesley Stahl is the correspondent. Shachar Bar-On, producer.

When President Obama met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this past week, the subject was how, when and if to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, Netanyahu saying Israel can’t afford to wait much longer; Mr. Obama arguing there’s still time to let sanctions and diplomacy do the job. And he said some top intelligence officials in Israel side with him.

Actually, you’ll hear from one of them tonight: Meir Dagan, former chief of the Mossad, Israel’s equivalent of the CIA. It’s unheard of for someone who held such a high-classified position to speak out publicly, but he told us he felt compelled to talk, because he is so opposed to a preemptive Israeli strike against Iran anytime soon.

Dagan headed the Mossad for nearly a decade until last year. His primary, if not his only mission was to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear bomb. And he says there is time to wait, perhaps as long as three years.

Lesley Stahl: You have said publicly that bombing Iran now is the stupidest idea you’ve ever heard. That’s a direct quote.

Dagan: An attack on Iran before you are exploring all other approaches is not the right way how to do it.

Stahl: The dispute seems to come down, though, to whether you are at the end of everything that you can try or whether you have a lot of time left to try other things, which seems to be your position.

Dagan: I never said it’s a lot of time but I think that-

Stahl: Well, more time.

Dagan: More time.

For nearly a decade buying more time was his job. The Iranians say Dagan dispatched assassins, faulty equipment and computer viruses to sabotage their nuclear program. All the while, he was poring over the most secret dossiers about the Iranian regime, gaining insights and a surprising appreciation.

Dagan: The regime in Iran is a very rational regime.

Stahl: Do you think Ahmadinejad is rational?

Dagan: The answer is yes. Not exactly our rationale, but I think that he is rational.

Stahl: Do you think they’re rational enough that they are capable of backing down from this?

Dagan: No doubt that the Iranian regime is maybe not exactly rational based on what I call Western-thinking, but no doubt they are considering all the implications of their actions.

Stahl: Other people think they’re not going to really stop until they have this capability.

Dagan: They will have to pay dearly and all the consequences for it. And I think the Iranians, in this point in time, are going very careful in the project. They are not running in it.
