Loaded question how. A freemarket a true one would not have government mandated testing. Anything else would not be a true freemarket now like I said it might be unrealistic but that is part of it. Corps would only decide to test due to a free decision driven by the market.

Well to me personally that wasn't one of them. Now yea I think that that is the federal government over reaching but I think it over reacha big pharm to.

Re: "free market testing" that's a loaded question because we don't have a free market and The FDA only appears to do the testing when in fact they are completely bought out and companies are forced to comply to their Soviet-style reg's.

Abolish the FDA!! by Jim Grichar nails this topic: http://www.lewrockwell.com/grichar/grichar17.html

re: cherries, I see where you're coming and yes benefits can be overstated but in millions of cases across thousands of years food has proven to heal people. Now crazy people in government say that telling people it's good for us are committing a crime? FAIL.

Well of course i'll have a say here.

So your a believer in the free market? So wouldn't you support systems that are atleast more free market then less. Example instead of having the government regulators force privet companies to submit to government agency test or force privet industries to have to pay external testing that of course be licensed by government regulators which is a hole cans of warms. Or would you support regulators over seeing a privet company the freedom to test there products how they see fit over seen and approved by regulators. Of course a free market government could not enforce any testing at all.

Then there's your funny one. It's not that there going after the cherry industry because they don't want people to know of alternatives it's that yes cherries have a substance that helps with cancer but it's such a small amount that it would be unrealistic to have someone consume enough to have it take effect. It's like eating carrots and seeing better. Carrots can help you see but you would have to eat such an unrealistic amount it would be bad for you.
