John Pilger: War, Truth & the Media
0A great little video from Aussie-born journalist John Pilger on the statistics of war and the chasm between the level of damage and death privatized (al qaeda) and state-sponsored (The US, UK, NATO, etc) terror give to the world.
He’s also recently released a film detailing the role of the media in covering up and/or distorting the reality of war to favor government-issued talking points: The War You Don’t See.

Forget whatever you think you know about the night Osama bin Laden was killed. According to a former Navy SEAL who claims to have the inside track, the mangled tales told of that historic night have only now been corrected.
“It became obvious in the weeks evolving after the mission that the story that was getting put out there was not only untrue, but it was a really ugly farce of what did happen,” said Chuck Pfarrer, author of Seal Target Geronimo: The Inside Story of the Mission to Kill Osama Bin Laden.
In an extensive interview with The Daily Caller, Pfarrer gave a detailed account of why he believes the record needed to be corrected, and why he set out to share the personal stories of the warriors who penetrated bin Laden’s long-secret compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
In August the New Yorker delivered a riveting blow-by-blow of theSEALs’ May 1, 2011 raid on bin Laden’s hideaway. In that account, later reported to lack contributions from the SEALs involved, readers are taken through a mission that began with a top-secret helicopter crashing and led to a bottom-up assault of the Abbottabad compound.
Freelancer Nicholas Schmidle wrote that the SEALs had shot and blasted their way up floor-by-floor, finally cornering the bewildered Al-Qaida leader:
“The Al Qaeda chief, who was wearing a tan shalwar kameez and a prayer cap on his head, froze; he was unarmed. ‘There was never any question of detaining or capturing him—it wasn’t a split-second decision. No one wanted detainees,’ the special-operations officer told me. (The Administration maintains that had bin Laden immediately surrendered he could have been taken alive.) Nine years, seven months, and twenty days after September 11th, an American was a trigger pull from ending bin Laden’s life. The first round, a 5.56-mm. bullet, struck bin Laden in the chest. As he fell backward, the SEAL fired a second round into his head, just above his left eye.”

13This is a very interesting video and Dobbs doesn’t pull any punches in his critique of The 9-11 Commission, the lies about the details of that day from major public officials, and asks us stinging questions that need to be answered.
Have we been lied to because we need to hide our actual techniques? That doesn’t fit for me.
Are we trying to cover up for gross negligence and ineptitude? Perhaps–but if that is the case why isn’t anyone being investigated or charged with crimes for their mistakes?
As an aside, the title of the video is a little mis-leading, I didn’t create the video.

6I don’t really know how to react when people of this caliber make statements like these. I can’t imagine why guys with track records as long, Patriotic and proven as Dr. Steve Pieczenik would say these things if they didn’t have logical evidence to back up their beliefs.
If he’s wrong, so be it–but when a man like this stands up and says things like he does it is newsworthy.

Indefinite Detention? President Obama says OK!

The notion that someone can be locked up indefinitely without a charge is absolutely ludicrous. This insanity is proven by many cases of horrific treatment of “detainees” at Guantanamo Bay. Among them, is/was 48 year old Awal Gul who died in prison after nine years in Guantanamo–all of them spent without being charged.
If you have any glimmer of God-given mercy, compassion or just some plain old sympathy then take some action, make a wave, cause some ruckus and please help bring an end to this madness.
A bright, wonderful joyous futures awaits those willing to create it and seek God’s guidance, sponsorship and grace (if you’re an atheist or a New Ager please just pray to be led to the Truth, with a big T).
Geraldo Rivera does “911 Truth” segment about Building 7?!
0I admit it’s very tough to talk about this issue without seeming like an incredibly paranoid and delusional person, but given the impact of this event and the Earth-shaking political events after it I believe we owe it to our troops and the families involved in 9-11 to investigate it further.
Father of a son killed in 9-11 Bob McIlvane, and mechanical engineer Tony Szambotti from BuildingWhat.org and Coalition For Accountability Now appear on Geraldo’s show to discuss why they think that 9-11 was a “inside job” and detail the “explosions” that firefighters and EMS workers told them about first-hand.
During their talk Geraldo concedes, “I’m certainly much more open minded about it than I was.”
I don’t know what happened on 9-11, but there are very significant volumes of extremely intelligent, brave and proven military officials, pilots and architectural/engineering professionals all citing very specific reasons that cause them to believe the official story is incomplete, a cover-up or an outright inside job.

7) Ph.D.’s in Aeronautics and Nuclear Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
Next, some of his views:
1) The United States is becoming a government controlled by what President Dwight D. Eisenhower called the “military-industrial complex” and large international corporations that have paid off most politicians.
2) Semi-secret organizations like The Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, and Council on Foreign Relations are hand-picking our Presidents and running the government behind the scenes.
3) The most incendiary of them all: 9-11 was an inside job.
“The truth about 9/11 is that after 10 years we still don’t know the truth about 9/11 and we should and so should all the families of the victims.… How do we get our government to support what’s left of our troops by bringing them home while they are still alive? How do we achieve a new constitutional foreign and military policy? We the people must reassert our sovereignty and the key to doing that is 9/11 truth. We must expose, indict, convict and incarcerate the liars, the murderers, and the traitors and then replace them with patriots devoted to the truth and service to the people.” ~Lt. Col. Bob Bowman.
My response to these shocking assertions: This website is an exploration; not a statement of fact. It is an objective search for truth, not slab of granite with dogmas etched in its memory.
It is an open house for credible, professional, passionate speakers and authorities on a variety of subjects to make their case–if you have a track record of proven results, critical thinking skills or experience you will have a platform to submit you ideas to the internet. If you’re shot down as a charlatan; so be it. If you’re proven to be right; congratulations.
Regarding 9-11 and the possibility that it was an “inside job” as Lt. Col Bowman and a surprising number of very credible people are saying…
Throughout history, governments from every nation on Earth have done mind-bending, criminally horrific things to their people, and those of other nations.
With that fact in mind, I don’t put anything past anyone in power. Stalin was a human being, Hitler was a human being, Mao was a human being. All of them murdered millions of people.
However incredibly unlikely, difficult to execute, and logic-defying the theory of an “inside job” may be, given the previous events; is it within the realm of possibilities that human beings could orchestrate an event as cold, callous and cruel as 9-11 to bring their people into war?
Sadly, yes I believe it is remotely possible. That being said, I have seen some very professional, very detailed and seemingly complete debunkings of 9-11 “truthers.” I do NOT fully endorse Dr. (Lt. Col.) Bowman’s theories. However, given his incredible track record as patriot of the highest order, combined with his proven intellectual and problem solving capacities, I am forced to suspend disbelief and lend an open ear to a living American hero and, yes, rocket scientist.
In fact, if we so choose, we can all lend an ear by tuning in this week because he has kindly agreed to an interview with me. It will be posted by the end of the week. See you then.
When Speaking of Liberty, Eventually Conspiracies Come Up…
2In college I watched a few 9-11 conspiracy videos and frankly got very intrigued by their theories and the strange events of that day.
I’ve since grown more skeptical–of both government and “truthers”–and have seen a number of debunking presentations on their theories that showed many “truthers” were far closer to plain old liars…
However this interview is very interesting to me. I’m confused because I’ve seen pictures of pieces of what appears to be an airplane fuselage on The Pentagon lawn–and this man’s testimony flies in the face of that evidence. I’d really like to get your thoughts on this if you’re keen on it–I really don’t know what to make of this mess.
