Escape from political Alcatraz
0I like to think I’m a good person, I like to think my efforts matter, and I like to think that there are many things worth fighting for.
But today, I’m having a “difficult” thought. Is it possible that all of my blabbering about this or that candidate, ending the corrupt Federal Reserve, exposing the “New World Order” and working to create a world with less government abuse, corruption and theft via taxation not what God wants right now?
Is it possible that these cruel and wicked institutions of government currently driving so much angst, fear, and anger into our hearts and minds are here on purpose?
In that line of thinking, are the criminals in Washington DC, the NWO-advocates in the above link and the military/police state we see rising around us actually good in the long run?
“What?! Did you just say that The Fed and the heaving and snarling leviathan known as THE GOVERNMENT is somehow part of God’s plan?!?!”
I did.
And more than that, I say that these wicked people (and the demonic entities surrounding them) are good because they can draw us back to our only true peace: God.
“Oh yeah?! You think “God” is going to help you?!”
I do.
Looking at the vast complexity of life and the stunning coincidences I see on a regular basis I cannot rationally conceive of a life that does not have a Conscious Creator behind it at the strings. When I read the testimony and philosophy of Jesus, I cannot rationally conceive of better advice.
“Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
*To me, this means infinite forgiveness, not the number.
“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else?”
*If we only give love, respect and kindness to those we judge as deserving of it, what good have we really done?
“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.”
*This is the big one. Can we turn our eyes to God and through pain-staking patience, prayer and reckless abandonment of our sense of gratification; seek His Will rather than our own? Not religiously follow rules and try to live a perfect life by going letter by letter through The Bible (that’s probably impossible), rather chain our egos down, pray our knees off to find Divine Guidance (no matter where it might lead) and offer our lives up as tools in the belt of The Almighty.
I know this all sounds crazy, and I know many will read this and hear that brave voice in their head say, “It’s our right, duty and sacred responsibility to devote ourselves to steering the political process! If we don’t do something that socialist/communist/radicaly Muslim Obama will get back in and ruin this Nation!!!” But given the dire straights we’re already in, there may be no saving the current systems of this world.
If that’s scary, rest in the peace that there is a God, there is a Plan, and that even though the discipline the world is receiving is painful, if we are willing to dive into the flames with the Faith we will emerge from the fire as refined disciples of steel (rather than rusty iron rods) hand-crafted by an all-knowing, perfect and loving Creator it will be worth the struggle, yes? 
The Save America Convention, notes from Days 1 and 2

With minutes to spare after a 2.5 hour drive my incredible girlfriend and I made it to The Save America Convention to see Judge Napolitano’s keynote speech last night.
We were expecting an electric performance of empowered, inspired, and enlightening information from “The Judge” and foresaw intricate and powerful lessons in liberty and life with passionate, purposeful, precise insights into how to create change and steer our country back to prosperity.
Even with our high expectations, we were still awed by “The Judge’s” empowering message, impeccable delivery and throughly enjoyable presentation on why the government is an ineffective vehicle for prosperity, the hidden and nefarious nature of government help that later hinders our happiness, and how we can escape from the dire situations we’re now experiencing.
He’s funny, positive and remarkably knowledgable about an incredible array of topics that impact our daily lives.
After his presentation I chased him down en route to another post-speech private event and passed him my card in hopes of an interview on the site. If you’d like to see him on the show, please say a prayer and if it’s God’s will it will be my incredible honor and our collective blessing to learn from him one on one.
I’ll have the video of his talk up shortly, just have to get home and hammer through some editing.
Now onto today:
A multitude of wise and articulate presenters followed Judge Napolitano’s lead and will have their content posted as soon as I’m able:
1) Save America Foundation’s President, Fred Brownbill. He delivered a profoundly moving, inspiring, and poetic presentation that ranged from the threats from government aid to the similarities between his homeland Rhodesia’s (now Zimbabwe) fall into communism, central banking malaise and economic collapse compared to America’s current trajectory.
There are incredible similarities between Rhodesia’s fall and our own path toward political and economic failure that need to be examined and learned from immediately.
2) G. Edward Griffin lived up to his reputation as a Godfather in the liberty movement as well. His seminal cult-classic text The Creature from Jekyll Island is a must-read for anyone who wants to explore the carefully and purposefully hidden underbelly of the history of banking, financial corruption and–brace for a dirty word–conspiracy behind the movie screen of American Life.
His incredible and unique perspective on The Fed will simultaneously entertain, empower and enrage. I got to have a very quick talk with him about doing an interview as well—get ready for a talk with in the near future. His most recent work is the stunning documentary: What In The World Are The Spraying?
3) A major surprise was retired Green Beret Paul St. John. His work and life story are nothing short of breath-taking. When you see his video up on the sight hold on tight; he is brilliantly insightful, extraordinarily knowledgeable while still being easy to listen to and understand.
4) Dr. Richard Davis. The best response I can muster is “WOW.” This man has created something incredible with his Sue The Fed movement and organization. He’s also designed a flat-out ingenious way of fundraising, networking and profiting from liberty–more details on his website SueTheFed.com.
5) Dr. Kirk Elliott delivered the most spiritual economics presentation I’ve seen in quite sometime–probably ever. His Biblical knowledge combined with a Ph.D. gives him a powerful perspective. Add in a successful career and proven record and you’ve got something very special.
Sorry Stuart Rhodes, John Galt, John Michael Chambers, and Howard “Mad Max” Mullen; I had to leave the event early but will be back tomorrow morning–hope to see you all then!

Our school system promotes laziness via tenure grants after just a few years of work. If I knew I couldn’t get fired after a few years of moderately hard work I’d do exactly what most teachers do. Relentless pursuit of liberty and the magic of ink-less cash machines

I really do understand and appreciate the deep, throbbing, utterly tasteless boredom issues like The Federal Reserve, politics at large, and economics in general instills in We The People. At first glance, an hour exploring these topics seems as fun as going to an outdoor snow melting contest in Canada wearing a speedo…
But then that creeping feeling of uncertainty gets into our stomachs and we don’t quite know what to do in the face of the incredible social chaos, turmoil, and economic malaise that we are facing and we begin to want to know, understand and control more of our lives.
What do we do when our politicians seem not to care what we say?
Who do we turn to when our trusted and wise counsels end up as charlatans and con-artists?
How do we find our sanity in the face of such blatant disrespect, disingenuous speeches and derogatory legislations like The Patriot Act?
We must choose to grow up, enter the world with all its thorns, pitfalls and dangers and look into our fiery hearts to find the rugged “Live Free or Die” spirit and Faith that built this country.
“But, if I just focus on my job, my car and my sports, everything will turn out ok.”
Sorry buddy, “Leave it to Beaver” days are gone like low blood pressure at a hot dog eating contest.
Our world and nation faces the same enemy it’s always faced: small groups of simple-minded, arrogant, foolish men in places of power who think that they can rule the world.
As Jefferson said, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”
So take a deep breath, sit up straight and look yourself in the mirror with some self-respect. Be empowered, wide-eyed, and red-blooded.
If The Federal Reserve wants to give away $23.7 trillion secretly let’s get after them and discover where our money is going.
If The IRS is committing crimes then let’s dig into the research and stop these leviathans in their slimy tracks so we can end this madness and get back to a better lifestyle for ourselves and families.

2Lot’s of conservatives and liberals alike often trumpet their faith and adherence to “America’s sacred charter” in flowering speeches the glow with self-styled patriotism and passion for American values and history.
To quote Dr. Paul, “Simply praising the document distracts from the need for members [of Congress] to gain the courage to resist special interests, political self-interest, emergency needs in times of crisis, fear-based economic myths and the persistent temptation seeks security over liberty while ignoring personal responsibility and self-reliance.”
With this new found praise will we as a people live up to our statements of faith and honor?
To what degree will we follow this incredible piece of political and social thought?
Will we now hold our elected officials accountable to their words and reject the following entirely un-Constitutional ideas: war without a declaration, a central bank, a monetary system not backed by gold or silver, a department of homeland security, a department of energy, The P.A.T.R.I.O.T Act and many other modern creations of politcians that Dr. Paul mentions in the below video?
