A SEAL’s account of how Osama bin Laden really died
0*from (to my amazement) YahooNews
Forget whatever you think you know about the night Osama bin Laden was killed. According to a former Navy SEAL who claims to have the inside track, the mangled tales told of that historic night have only now been corrected.
“It became obvious in the weeks evolving after the mission that the story that was getting put out there was not only untrue, but it was a really ugly farce of what did happen,” said Chuck Pfarrer, author of Seal Target Geronimo: The Inside Story of the Mission to Kill Osama Bin Laden.
In an extensive interview with The Daily Caller, Pfarrer gave a detailed account of why he believes the record needed to be corrected, and why he set out to share the personal stories of the warriors who penetrated bin Laden’s long-secret compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
In August the New Yorker delivered a riveting blow-by-blow of theSEALs’ May 1, 2011 raid on bin Laden’s hideaway. In that account, later reported to lack contributions from the SEALs involved, readers are taken through a mission that began with a top-secret helicopter crashing and led to a bottom-up assault of the Abbottabad compound.
Freelancer Nicholas Schmidle wrote that the SEALs had shot and blasted their way up floor-by-floor, finally cornering the bewildered Al-Qaida leader:
“The Al Qaeda chief, who was wearing a tan shalwar kameez and a prayer cap on his head, froze; he was unarmed. ‘There was never any question of detaining or capturing him—it wasn’t a split-second decision. No one wanted detainees,’ the special-operations officer told me. (The Administration maintains that had bin Laden immediately surrendered he could have been taken alive.) Nine years, seven months, and twenty days after September 11th, an American was a trigger pull from ending bin Laden’s life. The first round, a 5.56-mm. bullet, struck bin Laden in the chest. As he fell backward, the SEAL fired a second round into his head, just above his left eye.”
Chuck Pfarrer rejects almost all of that story.
Sen. Paul goes after Patriot Act
0“Don’t feed the animals in the zoo!” declares Sen. Rand Paul when describing the drunken stupor our politicians live in and the money we feed them through our tax dollars.
Joining Sen. Paul, is Florida Rep. Connie Mack and Judge Napolitano to demolish the idea that The Patriot Act is a needed tool of security rather than a pitchfork of tyranny.
We did fight a revolution to stop British soldiers from entering our homes without warrants written by a Judge—now law enforcement has that ability by decree of The Patriot Act.
We face a choice: active, determined, focused lives of action devoted to restoring our Republic by enlightening and inspring one man or woman at a time, or hiding our heads in ignorance, apathy or cowardice in the face of a gang of foolish, ignorant and arrogant bullies with a massive Achilles heel.
Sheriff Richard Mack discusses the power of your county Sherriff
0While modern society has become accustomed to dozens (hundreds?) of abuses and perversions of The Constitution; the brilliance of The Founder’s “bottom-up” vision of government for America is still powerfully entrusted and exemplified with the county Sheriff.
Here Oathkeepers founder Sheriff Richard Mack details the underestimated and overlooked impact that County Sheriffs have in these United States of America.
In a world where gun confiscation, “small arms treaties,” and infringement upon our Constitutional rights is an issue; knowing the abilities of our Sheriffs and—if need be—reminding and holding them accountable is an incredible asset and an important task.
Indefinite Detention? President Obama says OK!

The notion that someone can be locked up indefinitely without a charge is absolutely ludicrous. This insanity is proven by many cases of horrific treatment of “detainees” at Guantanamo Bay. Among them, is/was 48 year old Awal Gul who died in prison after nine years in Guantanamo–all of them spent without being charged.
If you have any glimmer of God-given mercy, compassion or just some plain old sympathy then take some action, make a wave, cause some ruckus and please help bring an end to this madness.
A bright, wonderful joyous futures awaits those willing to create it and seek God’s guidance, sponsorship and grace (if you’re an atheist or a New Ager please just pray to be led to the Truth, with a big T).
Tea Party darlings West and Rubio ignore The Constitution
5“The Constitution is a document of limitation.” -Marco Rubio.
What exactly does it limit now that it is being circumvented by treasonous laws like The Patriot Act?
Here Rubio praises a “small central government” and envisions a United States governed by the tenth amendment–where does The Patriot Act fit in with this description?
Lt. Col. Allen West was elected on a similar platform while touting the remarkable benefits of small government, low taxes and freedom.
Maybe he should read The Constitution more than he waives it around?
Judge Napolitano tries to reason with Fox News hosts on The Patriot Act
0The empty patriotism suggested by Gretchen Carlson is the most precious desire of politicians seeking to forge a police state with total access to people’s private information–and yes, The Patriot Act is a police state measure.
“If you’re not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about,” burbles the pleasantly pointless host.
While this may be true, it goes against everything our country was founded upon. If the government followed this idea to it’s fullest potential, there would be no more “guilty until proven innocent.” The ability to “plead the 5th” and utilize your 5th Amendment right not to self-incrimintate would be gone because the government would already know everything about you…
As Thomas Jefferson said, “Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem.”
Since T-Jeff was a righteous genius, he spoke latin. For the rest of us, the translation: “I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude.”
Here’s the complete quote in context:
“Societies exist under three forms sufficiently distinguishable. 1. Without government, as among our Indians. 2. Under governments wherein the will of every one has a just influence, as is the case in England in a slight degree, and in our states in a great one. 3. Under governments of force: as is the case in all other monarchies and in most of the other republics.
To have an idea of the curse of existence under these last, they must be seen. It is a government of wolves over sheep. It is a problem, not clear in my mind, that the 1st. condition is not the best. But I believe it to be inconsistent with any great degree of population. The second state has a great deal of good in it. The mass of mankind under that enjoys a precious degree of liberty and happiness.
It has it’s evils too: the principal of which is the turbulence to which it is subject. But weigh this against the oppressions of monarchy, and it becomes nothing. Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem. Even this evil is productive of good. It prevents the degeneracy of government, and nourishes a general attention to the public affairs. I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.” – Jefferson to James Madison, January 30, 1787
So You Like The Constitution Do Ya?
2Lot’s of conservatives and liberals alike often trumpet their faith and adherence to “America’s sacred charter” in flowering speeches the glow with self-styled patriotism and passion for American values and history.
To quote Dr. Paul, “Simply praising the document distracts from the need for members [of Congress] to gain the courage to resist special interests, political self-interest, emergency needs in times of crisis, fear-based economic myths and the persistent temptation seeks security over liberty while ignoring personal responsibility and self-reliance.”
With this new found praise will we as a people live up to our statements of faith and honor?
To what degree will we follow this incredible piece of political and social thought?
Will we now hold our elected officials accountable to their words and reject the following entirely un-Constitutional ideas: war without a declaration, a central bank, a monetary system not backed by gold or silver, a department of homeland security, a department of energy, The P.A.T.R.I.O.T Act and many other modern creations of politcians that Dr. Paul mentions in the below video?
*from Wikipedia: The title of The Patriot Act is a contrived three letter initialism (USA) preceding a seven letter acronym (PATRIOT), which in combination stand for Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001.[1] The acronym was created by a 23 year old Congressional staffer, Chris Cylke.
Beck vs. Judge Napolitano
2
Despite my affinity for 90% or so of what Glenn Beck has to say, I’ve never been able to stomach his antics, strange stage-actor like demeanor and goofy yet preachy delivery of the news. I knew that consciously I basically agreed with him (unless he was talking about war) but I just couldn’t turn the corner and become a fan of the guy.
After watching the below clip comparing Beck with Judge Napolitano–a true Constitutional expert, American patriot and brilliant legal mind–the reasons for my gut’s poor reaction to him is now pretty obvious to my conscious mind.
Have a look and decide for yourself. If you’re keen on it, drop some comments below and discuss.
