I realize there are success stories from welfare and I’m glad that they exist—however, charity should be voluntary and not enforced by the gun of The IRS.

The below video is just one example of the incredible benefit delivered by private sector charities.

Some use the words of Christ to justify their socialist or communist beliefs; however I don’t recall any passages saying that we should be threatened with jail and fines if we don’t “be our brother’s keeper.”
